Helbreath Portal is the number one Helbreath resource site in the world. With over 200 megabytes worth of Helbreath-related information on the website and forums combined, and hundreds of millions of visitors since June of 2002, it's no wonder we're number one!
A member of the GameArc Network, HBP is the official Helbreath community site for Helbreath USA.
The content on the resource site comes from the generous contributions of dozens of dedicated players and HBP staff members, over the course of four years, who spent hundreds of hours gathering information, compiling it, and publishing it for your perusal and enjoyment.
Our site membership consists of over 10,000 members, with our forums housing about half of the site memberbase, providing them with a medium to discuss every aspect of Helbreath, engage in active buying and selling of items, and participate in stimulating off-topic discussion. iEntertainment Network representatives and Game Masters often join in on discussions, creating a unique environment where players can communicate directly with the game administration.
History
HBP was founded on June 8th, 2002 by Jonathan "Dilr0y" Vitus -- an avid Helbreath addict. Hosted at a small gaming portal, HBP received limited exposure until it was picked up as a hosted site by the world-renouned industry portal, GameSpy.
Within weeks of its transfer to GameSpy, HBP's memberbase grew exponentially, hitting the 1 million hit mark in mid July of 2002.
In late November of 2002, Helbreath Portal became too large for GameSpy to handle, prompting Sam "Hawk" Bacsa -- then-HBP technical administrator -- to provide hosting for it via the dedicated servers owned by InfiniteRay Technologies, Inc.
In January of 2003, Dilr0y resigned his position to move onto bigger and better things, leaving the site to Hawk -- an experienced community leader and software developer. Since then, HBP has continued to grow, forging an alliance with iEntertainment Network in mid 2003, providing new ways for players and game leadership to communicate, spawning other portal sites to work under the GameArc brand, and keeping the community together for years on end.

"Helbreath Portal" is a recognized and respected brand throughout the Helbreath and foreign MMO community. Its staff members are well-known throughout the community and are looked on as being honorable, trustworthy individuals with years of selfless service to the Helbreath world. Many staff members serve the community in other capacities, such as game masters or customer support representatives for iEnt. The distinguished title of "HBP Staff" opens up many opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to obtain otherwise. All current staff members have more than a year of service under their belt, which just goes to show that having the best people creates the best atmosphere to foster a community.
